Step 1 Mix your fabric dye and place your nylon stockings into the bowl

Step 2 Lay out the branches in the desired shape until you’re  satisfied with the result

Step 3 Cut your wire to size and use it as frame for the branches

Step 4 Glue all loose branches in place

Step 5 Wash and wring out the stockings – Wait until they are dry

Step 6 Cut the stockings to size and glue them to the backside of the wings

Step 7 Repeat this step with the second wing – Glue the stocking pieces to the opposite side of the wing so that the backs of both wings mirror each other

Step 8 Bend a piece of wire into a horseshoe shape and glue it to both wings – The wire  serves as a holder that can be inserted into the worn corset

Step 9 If this holder is not stable enough or if you don’t have a corset, bend wire straps and attach them to the top and bottom of the horseshoe
