Step 1 Do a MR (8 SC)

Step 2 Add your first row by increasing in every stitch (16 SC)

Step 3 Chain 7

Step 4 Make a SL ST into the second stitch (from hook)

Step 5 Crochet a SC into the third stitch

Step 6 Crochet a HDC into the fourth stitch

Step 7 Crochet a DC into the fifth stitch

Step 8 Crochet a TR into the sixth stitch

Step 9 Crochet a DTR into the seventh stitch

Step 10 Crochet a SL ST into the third stitch of your MR

Step 11 Chain 7

Step 12 Repeat step 4 – step 10 four more times

Step 13 Make a SL ST into the fourth stitch (instead of third stitch) of your MR (fifth and last star point)

Step 14 Get rid of the excess tails with your darning needle and scissors
